In high school I was in charge of video production for the Associated Student Body. Our advisor wanted to reveal the location and theme of the prom in a special way. I was in charge of making our main character, “James Bond”, look like he was flying over several different famous locations in San Diego hinting to where Prom might be at. We shot these scenes inside of a retired plane inside the Aerospace Museum in Balboa. After shooting these scenes we realized that we forgot to bring the green screen with us.
This made my job a lot harder than it should have been. Instead of just using keylight in Adobe After Effects, I had to use the roto brush tool and individually go frame by frame to delete the unwanted scenery outside of the windows.
